3 Reasons to Book with an Established Company
Here at Fairytale Productions, we love startups! We are big supporters of small business and individual creativity. However, when it comes to something as important as your wedding day photography and videography, we wanted to give you a few key things to consider as you make this important investment. Here are 3 reasons to book with an established Photo & Video company instead of a new, small operation without much history or industry reputation (even if they're talented!) 1) Established Trust in Your Full Experience Like we said, we LOVE it when new talent comes on the scene! We used to be in their shoes and KNOW the challenges that
Booking Season is Here – 2017 Spring Engagement Photo Feature
As you may know, the vast majority of wedding engagements begin between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. That means the busiest booking season for major wedding providers are the early months of the year. We are definitely in full swing here at Fairytale Productions. We wanted to feature this gorgeous shoot of Maggie & Justin from January 4th in Kissimmee, Florida for some Spring session ideas. We know our northern clients won't see the warm, sunny weather for a few more months -- but we hope this gives you some inspiration and excitement as you plan your own engagement photo shoot! Be sure to book your Wedding Photography and Videography
What is a Cinematic Main Feature?
When it comes to choosing the right wedding videography package, it's important to consider both the quality of the footage and the final edits included in comparison to your budget. One of the main differences that separates our Premium Wedding Video Package from the Traditional Packages is that it has a longer artistic edit: the Cinematic Main Feature. The Cinematic Main Feature is 8-20 minutes long as opposed to the 3-5 minute Highlight Film that comes with the Traditional packages. It is also a little more artistic in nature because the Premium package comes with two videographers (so there is more footage to work with) and because of the
Wedding Videography: Professional, Home Movie, or None?
Why Videography? Why not just Photography? In this modern age of wedding planning, videography can start lower on the priority list of important vendors, although its popularity is on the rise. Photography and DJ -- important, of course -- are sometimes thought of as the most important pieces to check off the planning the list and videography is left to "see how much is left in the budget" or sometimes not thought of at all. Here at Fairytale Productions, however -- and in most wedding industry insider-circles -- videography is seen as a top priority, perhaps right after the date and venue. Don’t get me wrong, we LOVE photography.

Vadim and Rachel gave us the privilege of capturing their day via wedding Photography and Videography on July 3rd! They hired 2 photographer and 2 videographers. Ceremony and reception were both held at Adat Shalom Synagogue in Farmington Hills, Michigan. These two had THREE different languages spoken between all the friends and family: Russian, Hebrew, and English!
